Arrive in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province and one of China’s most culturally rich cities. Upon arrival, you will be met by our local representative and transferred comfortably to your hotel for check-in.

If time permits, enjoy an evening visit to Jinli Old Street, one of Chengdu’s most famous historical streets. Lined with traditional architecture, lantern-lit lanes, teahouses, local handicraft shops, and authentic Sichuan street food, Jinli offers a wonderful first glimpse into Chengdu’s laid-back lifestyle and ancient charm.

After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, one of China’s most important conservation centres. Observe giant pandas and red pandas in a near-natural environment while learning about breeding and preservation efforts—an unmissable highlight for wildlife lovers.

In the afternoon, travel to Leshan to witness the magnificent Leshan Giant Buddha, the world’s largest stone Buddha statue and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Min River for panoramic views of this colossal 71-metre-tall monument carved into a cliff face.

After the tour, return to Chengdu.

Post breakfast, enjoy a smooth transfer to the railway station and embark on a high-speed rail journey from Chengdu to Chongqing—China’s dynamic riverside metropolis. Upon arrival, begin a guided city exploration of Chongqing’s most iconic landmarks.

Visit Liziba Monorail Station, famous worldwide for its train passing through a residential building—an engineering marvel and a must-see photo stop. Continue to Eling Park, offering panoramic views of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers and the city’s dramatic skyline.

Later, enjoy a ride on the Yangtze River Cable Car, providing aerial views of Chongqing’s urban landscape and river confluence. End the day at Hongya Cave, a vibrant riverside complex inspired by traditional Bayu architecture, known for its illuminated night views, local snacks, and cultural atmosphere.

In the afternoon, head to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Chongqing’s bustling commercial hub, perfect for shopping, cafés, and experiencing the city’s vibrant urban lifestyle.
